Our purpose at CLTA is to deepen the impact of education through expert teaching and collaborative learning. As a strategic partner of the Cheshire Teaching School Hub and the University of Chester, CLTA is dedicated to delivering superior training and professional development for educators and leaders at every career stage, whilst also contributing to the improvement of educational standards through school-to-school support.
Over the past 12 years, CLTA has flourished, focusing on:
- Primary PGCE Lead School Partner Route with QTS for Initial Teacher Education.
- Implementation of the two-year Early Career Teacher (ECT) and Early Career Mentor (ECM) training program.
- Delivering Department for Education (DfE) accredited leadership programs, including NPQSL, NPQLBC, and NPQEYL.
- Comprehensive CPD training programs catering to all teacher levels, from ECTs to Headteachers.
- Offering school improvement services, supported by Cheshire Academies Trust's National Leader of Education (NLE) and Specialist Leader of Education (SLE) team.
CLTA also specialises in designing and delivering bespoke training courses tailored to individual school requirements.
