HOW WE SELECT OUR FUTURE TEACHERS

The initial stage is via application. Successful candidates are then invited to interview.

QUALIFICATIONS

If you studied outside of the UK, you should visit the National Academic Recognition Centre (NARIC) website to find out whether your qualifications are of an equivalent level to UK GCSEs, A levels and an undergraduate degree.

INTERVIEW PROCESS

A typical interview involves:-

• a learning activity with a group of children
• a five minute presentation
• a formal interview

Whilst preferable, applicants do not need to have experience of working with children to apply.

The course is non-salaried and tuition fees are paid to the University of Chester.
