CLTA (Cheshire Leadership & Teaching Alliance) is a group of local schools and other strategic partners led by Kelsall Primary School.
In March 2013 it was designated as the first Teaching School in Cheshire West and Chester.
Our Alliance was formed to deliver high quality training and professional development for teachers and leaders at all stages of their careers, as well as contributing to the raising of standards through school-to-school support.
The last 4 years has seen us go from strength to stength, delivering a range of thriving CPD courses, successful Leadership courses such as NPQSL (National Professional Qualification for Senior Leaders) and the NPQML (National Professional Qualification for Middle Leaders) and building a strong team of Specialist Leaders of Education.
We also design, co-ordinate and deliver bespoke training courses specific to your school's needs.
Our facilitators have the skills to deliver outstanding training to teams or individuals. They understand what makes an outstanding teacher because they are, or have been, outstanding teachers themselves.
The Big Six
The National College for Teaching and Leadership provides teaching schools with six main
key areas to help structure
teaching school delivery.
By working together we can improve the outcomes for all children."
